The school headmistress, Lorna Prado Scott, shared support and reinforcement words with students via streaming.
With an atmosphere full of happiness, generated by meeting again with friends, the school year 2021 began. Only this time with a bit more of expectation and anxiety, because of Covid-19.
Students arrived to a safe enviroment, using masks and alcohol-based gel hand disinfectant before entering their classrooms, that were specially arranged in order to respect the distances defined by santiary authorities.
At this first stage, classmates and teachers faced a different first school day. Lorna Prado Scott, school headmistress, gave support and reinforcement words, both at a personal and academic level, which were transmited via streaming to the different classrooms. This time without hugs, but with lots of smiles, the students enjoyed a day full of emotions.
Thursday March 4th was the beginning of the school year for students from Kinder to 5° grade (Group A) and from 6° grade to 12°. Friday March 5th was the turn for Group B from Kinder to 5° grade and from 6° to 12° grade. Prekinder will begin their classes on Monday March 8th.
The school community started 2021 full with enthusiasm and hoping to live this year with joy and energy. But also taking care and with respect for the new rules which have been included to share safely, in order to face this challenge of education in pandemic times.
