Physical education and sports are fundamental for a well-rounded education of students, especially during their stages of development. At Santiago College, we promote different sports as an effective way for our students to develop a healthy lifestyle and skills such as teamwork, empathy and autonomy, among others.
The participation of our students in sports leads to personal growth. It is an opportunity to learn values like respect, solidarity, honesty, companionship, and to develop skills and knowledge that can be used productively in their daily life. A well-coached sport is a life lesson that has a positive impact on young people ́s lives.
Our base sports program considers rugby, soccer (for boys and girls), hockey, basketball, volleyball and swimming. In addition, we have modified our planning and training so it´s in line with the guidelines of the Ministry of Education.
