To continue on the path of sustainability through concrete initiatives, we began to recycle organic waste.
If you walk through the different Schools or through the Patio de Los Naranjos, you will find something new… the compost bins that have already begun to be used, to continue contributing as a community with actions that contribute to the care of the environment. This initiative, promoted by our Eco Green Team, is an invitation to recycle organic waste generated in the School that considers all those who are part of SC.
If you don’t know what they look like, you just have to look for the new containers that are available in the places already indicated (see photos below). Regarding their operation, Derrick Allen, coordinator of the SC Eco Green Team, explained that “each School or area will have its own way of operating, so it is important to keep an eye on the announcements that will be made in this regard”. He also warned that “the composting we are doing is only for what we produce here at the School. We do not have the capacity to receive what you produce at home. Thank you all for your support on this and other sustainability issues.”
