Library

The two-story library is a truly warm and charming place, designed so all students feel comfortable and welcome. To support them directly, we have three spaces differentiated by age and objectives: Lower Library, Middle Library, and High Library.

On the ground floor, spaces are specially designed for the youngest students, with colorful corners, cushions, and low bookshelves where they can explore books and enjoy fun activities. The atmosphere invites children to immerse themselves in stories and share special moments in a peaceful and joyful setting.

On the second floor, the energy remains vibrant but with a quieter tone, ideal for slightly older children. This space includes comfortable reading areas and interactive games that foster creativity and learning. The layout allows children of different ages to enjoy their time in the library safely and enjoyably.

A total of 30,000 volumes in English and Spanish, both print and digital, are available to our students in this space, which also fosters an atmosphere of curiosity and a love for reading. It also provides comprehensive support for projects associated with the International Baccalaureate (IB).

Our aim is to encourage a love of reading in our community and promote appreciation for both local and international culture. To support this, we offer subscriptions to specialized magazines, national newspapers, and digital academic databases; an audiovisual collection and games library; and an online catalog of our physical and audiovisual collection.

The Library team organizes activities such as Book Week celebrations, Talks, Book Clubs, literacy workshops, and reading promotion programs. It also participates in the Primary Years Programme, the Middle Years Programme Personal Project, and the Diploma Programme Extended Essay, among many others.

SC Theater (Auditorium)

Our school has a very special auditorium for the entire educational community. This 544m² venue is designed to accommodate 500 attendees across two levels, offering comfort and acoustics to make each event a memorable experience. It is the perfect stage for students to showcase their talents in performances, plays, and cultural activities, creating an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and engagement.

In this space, students can express themselves, share ideas, and listen to their peers in a place that encourages community and coexistence. It is also the chosen venue for conferences and large meetings with parents, facilitating communication between teachers and families in a comfortable and organized environment. Its spaciousness allows everyone to participate actively and feel part of the school community.

Creative Space

Our school has a Creative Space specially designed to inspire students to explore their imagination and develop skills in carpentry and digital fabrication. In this workshop, students have access to a variety of tools such as saws, sanders, as well as laser cutters and 3D printers. These tools allow them to create everything from small projects to more elaborate pieces, fostering patience, precision, and teamwork.

Our Creative Space, located in the Learning Center, opens up a world of possibilities for designing and building unique and personalized objects. Students can imagine, be creative, explore, and collaborate through digital and manual work. The combination of traditional and digital tools makes the creative process dynamic, enjoyable, and enriching, stimulating interest in science, technology, and the arts.

Initially, the space is intended for students from 6th grade to 10th grade, alongside the Diploma Programme’s Design Technology course. Activities have also been carried out with the science class and for the Personal Project (PP).

Among the projects completed to date, 6th grade students developed an automaton prototype—a mechanism that uses an eccentric wheel and a regular wheel to move an element up, down, and rotate it at the same time. For this purpose, 160 kits were made, allowing students to learn about the mechanism and design a character. Meanwhile, 9th grade students worked on building a chair, to mention just a few of the projects.

Students are invited to learn, use the available tools, develop projects and ideas, and turn them into reality.

Our learning spaces are designed to be welcoming and functional. Classrooms are spacious and well-equipped, the library offers differentiated study areas, and our Theater is designed to accommodate 500 attendees. In the Creative Space, students develop hands-on skills in woodworking and digital fabrication.
