To create is to explore without limits. In Visual Arts, our students experiment with various disciplines such as architecture, photography, design, painting and sculpture, broadening their perspective and developing their creative identity.
Beyond the classroom, we connect learning with the real world through visits, encounters and experiences that inspire and broaden horizons.
We foster critical thinking, boldness and problem-solving skills, inviting our students to question, imagine and transform ideas into unique and meaningful proposals.
EXHIBITION
At Santiago College, art is experienced as a real-life experience. The IB Art Exhibition is the moment when our students transform years of exploration, creativity and dedication into a gallery designed and managed by themselves.
After two years of work on the Diploma Programme, students present high-calibre works — paintings, sculptures and artistic projects — that reflect their identity, process and view of the world, always supported by specialist teachers who guide and nurture their development.
The opening of this exhibition brings the whole school community together. Families, teachers and students gather in a space where art connects, inspires and is shared, celebrating together an experience that transcends the classroom.
DRAMA
The stage is a space for discovery. In Drama, every student finds their voice, develops their expressiveness and builds their confidence.
From the early years, through play and exploration, to more advanced levels where they take on roles as creators, actors or directors, we foster a holistic experience that combines creativity, collaboration and critical thinking.
Theatre thus becomes a powerful tool for understanding the world, connecting with others and expressing ideas with meaning and depth.
