We are seeking a Middle School / High School English Teacher to join our team on a maternity replacement contract, with an anticipated start date of May 2026, with flexibility for an earlier start.

The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding, developing and implementing the IB MYP Language and Literature and DP Language B programmes within a supportive learning environment. They will build positive and respectful relationships with students, motivating the development of cognitive, socio-emotional and academic skills aligned with the school’s Educational Project and the IB philosophy.

Flexibility, collaboration and a sense of humour are essential, as is a genuine commitment to student wellbeing and professional growth.

Position Requirements

• Relevant degree and recognised teaching qualification (Secondary education)
• Advanced level English (C2) or bilingual/native speaker
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for English and Literature
• Alignment with the School Mission, Vision, Community Values and the IB philosophy
• Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience with students from 6th-12th grades.
• Experience or knowledge of IB MYP and or DP Language and Literature (desirable)
• Experience with multilingual learners (desirable)
• International teaching experience (preferred)
