Founded in 1890, represented Ira and Adelaide La Fetra, the Alumni Association was chaired by Maggie Keil and its members were the first six graduates of Santiago College.
The objective of this institution, which became fundamental for Santiago College was, and is to this day, "to cultivate among alumni the feelings of friendship and mutual affection; cooperate to advance in higher education for Chilean women; promote and maintain always potential feelings of love for studies and intellectual and moral culture; and work for the ennoblement of Christian men and women in their pursuit of the welfare of their Alma Mater and to preserve and cultivatethe bonds of friendship formed during the school days."
Staying true to these principles, the Alumni Association continued to grow and ensure compliance with the founding charisma. Over time, the Board, which is renewed every two years, has driven works of social assistance, working closely with SC and maintaining communication with all members, even if they are scattered across the world.
