The Student Support area is made up psychologists, learning specialists and a university guidance counselor.<\/p>\n

This team specialists support the academic, social, emotional and vocational development of the students by conducting interviews, diagnostic explorations and the elaboration of action plans together with teachers and families. If necessary, referrals are made to external professionals with whom the Student Support area maintains contact. Each level, from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade, has the support of a psychologist and a learning specialist.<\/p>\n

Personal and Social Development Program (DPS)<\/strong><\/p>\n

In order to reinforce certain skills necessary for learning, the learning specialists carry out support workshops, as well as interventions with students inside the classroom.<\/p>\n

Psychologists \u2013 together with the homeroom teachers \u2013 are in charge of the planning and implementation of the Personal and Social Development Program (DPS). Its objective is to contribute to the training of students so that their actions are in line with the mission of Santiago College and the IB profile. In addition, the psychologists work together with the Principals, tutors and homeroom teachers to address situations of school well-being.<\/p>\n

The university guidance counselor supports the entire application process of students to national and foreign universities.<\/p>\n
