- Our school’s Guidance Department is formed by four educational psychologists and six psychologists. It aims to support the development of our students in the academic, emotional and social level, through joint work with teachers and parents.This support is given through educational and psychological assessments, development of action plans with teachers and/or families, facing student’s difficulties. Similarly, if necessary, referrals to external professionals with whom the guidance department maintains contact, in order to assist the student’s development and adaptation.The educational psychologists of the Guidance Department organize support workshops for students in various learning skills.The psychologists of the Guidance Department, in conjunction with head teachers, are responsible for the curriculum and implementation of the Personal and Social Development Program (PSD), which aims to contribute in the education of the students, so they act according to the mission, values, and IB profile of Santiago College.To meet this objective, it seeks to promote the knowledge that students have of themselves, to promote the development of a life according to the school values, fostering a climate of positive coexistence through respect, learning of conflict resolution and acceptance of diversity. At the same time, raise awareness of, and place personal talents at the service of the needs of society and the different communities to which they belong.
